Methadone Treatment: available

Methadone treatment is available only at the State Psychiatric Hospital for Alcoholism and Drug Addiction in Sofia. Foreign methadone patients can receive treatment for up to one month. Treatment fees vary depending on dosage and possible checkups.

Importation of Methadone, Buprenorphine, Codeine: possible

It is possible to bring methadone and other opioid substances into Bulgaria for personal use as medication. The maximum daily dosage of racemic methadone must not exceed 170mg.
