In order to make arrangements for continued
methadone treatment in Ireland the patient's home prescriber is
advised to contact the Drug Treatment Centre in Dublin. Relevant
information such as identification and treatment details should
be given. Take home medication is available.
Importation of Methadone: possible
We strongly advise methadone prescribers to
give any of their patients importing methadone into Ireland a
letter making it clear that it is for their personal use.
