There are methadone treatment centres in
Thailand. Unfortunately we can only give the contact details of a dispensing
unit in Bangkok (see contact details below).
Therefore, Thai methadone treatment units are strongly requested to provide their
contact details and additional info.
Buprenorphine Treatment: not available
Importation of Methadone/Buprenorphine:

Buprenorphine
(Subutex, Suboxone): It is allowed to bring into Thailand 30 daily doses of
buprenorphine,
provided travellers carry with them a letter from their prescribing doctor/clinic.
Methadone: An application for bringing methadone into Thailand must be sent to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The current FDA regulations are available at:
